However, since graduating college in 2020 in the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, like many folks I felt like I lost a part of myself. I especially have felt lost as I've acclimated to the 8-5 lifestyle in the past few years since then.

 

It wasn't until one day about in late 2022, when discussing with my manager that I was feeling off, that I realized -

 

I need to get the creative juices flowing again.

 

Since then, I've been writing entries whenever I've gotten a random jolt of inspiration. I've shared a few of these writings with friends and colleagues, to which I've received great feedback and have been told I should share these stories more often. And here we are.

Some of these entries are observations or thought pieces.

 

Some of these entries are stories about my life, friends, or the world we live in - no real resolution or "call to action" so to speak.

 

Some of these entries were just meant for me to get my thoughts and feelings down on paper.

 

Some of these entries I've written with the intent as if I'm speaking to some audience in the vast expanse of the universe that may actually be listening.

Some of these entries are thoughts I think could really have an impact in starting meaningful conversations that could impact the world around us.

 

Some of these entries are stories just to have some fun like the kid in me once did.

What can you expect if you choose to read on?

 

Call it cliche, but you can expect the unexpected.

 

I always write first on pen and paper, but I'll translate entries dating back from since I've started writing again to this site here as I see fit. (In no particular order, either.)

So,

whether you're a friend/colleague reading to see if I'm writing about you, (I won't explicitly use names, but I will use references so you'll know,)

or maybe someone random on the internet I've never met before, (a pleasure to meet ya then! Let's hope you're not a stalker!)

or just want a good story to laugh at or something to get you thinking, you've come to the right place.

One thing you can count on with these entries, is that these stories and reflections will be written from the heart, with the intent to be as honest with myself and the world around me with every word. (With some humor mixed in - if you can't laugh at yourself and your life, you're taking it way too seriously.)
